What Is Needed to Become a Physio Flows Instructor?
Physio Flows requires endorsement before anyone teaches classes in our space. Our goal is not to gatekeep. Our goal is to build a strong, inclusive, and safety-focused instructor community with clear standards and real support.
We do not charge fees for credentialing or endorsement. This is not a pay-to-certify funnel. We built this process to create a pathway for instructors, not to make money from applicants. We are also open to discussing additional specialties if you have ideas.
Important: Experience counts here
We respect formal certifications and completed courses. We also know that hands-on experience, strong references, and proven teaching judgment tell us a lot about who you are as an instructor. We evaluate the full picture, not a single checkbox.
Straightforward, step by step
Step 1
Sign in and apply
Never hurts to ask. Be ready to copy/paste or type in details like Additional Information About Me, Instructor Resume Summary, Teaching Experience, and Apparatus Background. Share your story, your skills, your teaching history, and why you want to teach here.
Step 2
Choose specialties and levels
Check off the specialties and levels you would like to teach. This helps us route your review to the right interview and sign-off path.
Step 3
Submit your application
Once submitted, your application enters our credentialing review queue.
Step 4
Initial review
We review your application and let you know whether we are scheduling an interview, or if this is not the right fit right now.
Step 5
Interview
This is a two-way conversation. We get to know each other, talk through culture fit and teaching values, and give you a chance to see the space and ask questions.
Step 6
Review, references, and A Background Check
We review the information you submitted in detail, check references, build a training checklist if needed, and run a background check when things continue moving forward. A background check is required for insurance and for the safety and security of everyone in our space.
Step 7
Orientation and policy sign-offs
If we both choose to continue, we complete facility orientation, policy reviews, and equipment orientation sign-off.
Step 8
Owner-led safety and bodywatch training
Every instructor takes a special class with Coryn Autore, PT, DPT focused on movement quality, form, body watch-outs, health/safety red flags, and when to escalate to clinical support.
Step 9
First-Run Class
We usually schedule a first-run class, and sometimes include shadowing, shared teaching, and being shadowed.
Step 10
Endorsement issuance
When all requirements are complete, we issue your Physio Flows Endorsement with specialties, skill levels, issue date, and expiration date. Endorsement is required to teach classes at Physio Flows.
Not qualified for endorsement yet? You still may be a great fit.
If you are a strong culture fit but not endorsement-ready on day one, we are willing to work with you on teaching structure, form, safety systems, and related skill development. We are not trying to disqualify people. We are trying to grow more instructors who teach to Physio Flows standards.
