PHYSIO FLOWS - INTERVIEW, DEMONSTRATION AND MEDIA-VISIT OPPORTUNITIES READY-TO-SEND LANGUAGE ---------------------- Physio Flows can arrange interviews, photographs, video/B-roll, aerial demonstrations and facility tours before or during the Grand Opening. Founder Coryn Autore, PT, DPT, can discuss the practice, hypermobility and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, persistent and complex pain, performer-focused healthcare, the clinical/studio model, beginner access to aerial arts, and performer-informed safety. With advance coordination, we can also arrange demonstrations of aerial silks or lyra, spotting and skill progression, studio safety practices, and selected movement or clinical concepts using an appropriate staff member or volunteer. For a more participatory segment, a reporter or host may be able to try a short, supervised introductory aerial mini-session. We would keep it beginner-appropriate and fun, with the instructor selecting activities based on the participant, available time and safety considerations. POSSIBLE INTERVIEW TOPICS ------------------------- - Why Physio Flows combines clinical care and aerial/movement programming. - Hypermobile bodies, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, recurring instability, and why "flexible" does not always mean problem-free. - Persistent and complex pain and individualized treatment goals. - Performer-focused rehabilitation: aerialists, flow artists, dancers, gymnasts, climbers, horseback riders, singers and musicians. - "Getting You Back to What You Love" as a treatment philosophy. - Why beginners belong in aerial arts and how structured progression works. - Performer-informed safety, spotting, rigging awareness and speaking up when something does not feel right. - What the Instructor Endorsement Program evaluates beyond certificates or performance skill. - Inclusion, positive body culture and "Come just as you are." - Moving from the former Springboro location into the new Centerville facility. VISUAL / DEMONSTRATION OPTIONS ------------------------------ 1. Aerial silks demonstration - [INSTRUCTOR/PERFORMER NAME] 2. Lyra/hoop demonstration - [INSTRUCTOR/PERFORMER NAME] 3. Beginner skill progression - show the steps between first contact with an apparatus and a basic approved skill. 4. Spotting demonstration - instructor explains what they are watching and why. 5. Wide studio / ceiling-height shots showing the scale of the space. 6. Crash mats, apparatus and equipment-preparation shots. 7. Instructor pre-class safety check or equipment check. 8. Facility walk-through: clinical side + studio side as "one practice, two expressions." 9. Staged movement/physical therapy demonstration with [STAFF/VOLUNTEER], not a real patient unless separately authorized. 10. Reporter try-it mini-session - an accessible, low-complexity activity selected by the instructor. REPORTER TRY-IT MINI-SESSION - INTERNAL COORDINATION NOTES ---------------------------------------------------------- - Arrange in advance rather than improvising during a live hit. - Use an approved instructor and an appropriate apparatus/activity. - Keep the experience at an introductory, controlled level; there is no need to put a reporter high in the air for good television or photographs. - Participant completes the same applicable waiver/participation process required for the activity. - Instructor retains final say over what is appropriate based on clothing, readiness, time, equipment and other safety factors. - Tell the outlet in advance what clothing is practical for participation. - Build a non-participation backup: the reporter can handle the apparatus at ground level, learn a basic position, observe spotting, or interview the instructor while a trained student demonstrates.
